Finance Business Partner – West & Central Africa

About the role

Aggreko is seeking a Finance Business Partner to support its West and Central Africa operations from Ivory Coast. This hands‑on, operational finance role works closely with operational, commercial and functional leaders to provide end‑to‑end financial insight, drive performance and manage risk across a fast‑paced, multi‑country region.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with operations, project managers and business leaders to deliver financial insight, challenge decisions and improve commercial performance.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and monthly reporting, analysing results, trends and performance drivers.
• Provide project‑level financial visibility, supporting pricing, extensions and strategic decisions to maximise profitability.
• Identify efficiency opportunities, cost‑reduction initiatives and performance enhancements across multiple countries and projects.
• Support operational finance activities such as supplier payment escalations, tax and compliance matters, import/export finance issues and coordination with the outsourced finance partner (Wipro).

Required profile

• Experienced finance professional with a strong background in operational finance, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and performance analysis.
• Proven ability to partner with senior stakeholders—including Managing Directors, operational leaders and project teams—to provide commercial insight and influence decisions.
• Comfortable working across several countries and complex, emerging‑market environments, preferably in Africa.
• Experience collaborating with outsourced finance providers and shared‑service models.
• Solid knowledge of financial governance, controls and compliance, with a focus on risk management.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities, adapt quickly and drive issues to resolution in a fast‑changing environment.
