Inclusion Communications Officer

About the role

The Inclusion Communications Officer will support MSF WaCA’s strategy to promote the inclusion of communities and people with disabilities. The role combines communication, advocacy and DEI work to ensure that inclusion is visible across MSF’s digital and field activities.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse data and trends to develop communication on inclusion and produce regular updates for the inclusion portal and newsletter.
• Collect, organise and design content for inclusion‑related channels, including website pages, posters, guides and other materials.
• Define and monitor KPIs for inclusion communication and produce quarterly performance reports with recommendations.
• Collaborate with the MSF Inclusion Hub (Norway) and Mobile Inclusive Operations Officer to shape inclusion strategies.
• Support community inclusion policies, conduct field visits, and create internal awareness materials on photography, video and editorial codes of conduct.
• Work with the safeguarding team to develop e‑learning modules and practical guides on DEI and safeguarding.

Required profile

• Degree in communication, social sciences, political science or a related field.
• Minimum three years of professional experience in communications, public relations or community management, preferably with international NGOs.
• Working proficiency in English and French.
• Experience in communication ethics, DEI initiatives and producing multimedia content on social issues.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using website development and maintenance platforms (Content Management Systems).
