IT Assistant (Intern)

About the role

Lapaire is looking for a motivated IT Assistant intern to support the CEO in commercial analysis and software maintenance across its CRM, POS and other tools. This role offers hands‑on experience in a fast‑growing pan‑African optical retail group.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage user accounts, agencies and country settings in CRM and POS systems.
• Update software configurations to align with business evolution.
• Maintain and refresh existing analyses and reports, providing observations.
• Monitor procedural compliance and alert management to any violations.
• Compare and reconcile data between different software platforms.
• Assist in implementing tracking tools and follow up on commercial and marketing actions.
• Support integration of new software solutions, including AI‑based tools.

Required profile

• Minimum Bac+2 in Business Management, Finance or IT.
• At least one year of relevant experience (including internships).
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Organised, adaptable and able to work under pressure.
• Highly motivated, persistent and team‑oriented.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office.
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets capabilities.
• Experience with CRM and POS systems.
• Familiarity with AI software tools.
