Landscape & Programme Manager (South-West Côte d'Ivoire)

About the role

Earthworm is seeking a Landscape & Programme Manager to lead the transition from the Soubré Landscape initiative to the scaling of the Assiekpa programme in South‑West Côte d’Ivoire. Reporting to the Country Director, you will combine strategic leadership with hands‑on field delivery to generate lasting impact for farming communities and the environment.

Key responsibilities

• Translate Earthworm’s landscape strategy into concrete field actions, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to high quality standards.
• Build and nurture partnerships with producers, cooperatives, government agencies, NGOs, technical experts and implementation partners.
• Lead, coach and develop multidisciplinary programme teams, fostering a collaborative and values‑driven culture.
• Coordinate multi‑stakeholder initiatives, overseeing planning, monitoring, reporting and adaptive management across all activities.
• Uphold Earthworm’s values by maintaining robust administrative and financial management and promoting accountability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sustainable cocoa programmes and a solid understanding of regenerative agriculture, agroforestry, forest restoration and conservation.
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse stakeholders and balance environmental, social and economic priorities.
• Knowledge of land tenure, human rights and child protection issues in landscape management.
• Strong organisational, proactive and solution‑oriented mindset with a high sense of ownership.

Required skills

• Experience with traceability systems.
• Proficiency in GIS and farm mapping tools.
• Familiarity with landscape monitoring tools.
