Logistics and Clearances Specialist (Heavy Equipment)

About the role

Zoomlion is seeking a Logistics and Clearances Specialist to manage the import and export of heavy machinery, primarily for operations in Côte d'Ivoire. The role involves overseeing customs clearance, documentation, and shipment coordination to ensure timely and compliant delivery of equipment and spare parts.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full customs clearance process for heavy machinery imports, including duty and VAT payments.
• Prepare and handle all transit documentation, including Letters of Credit, from origin to destination.
• Monitor cargo movements (import, export, local) and maintain real‑time tracking reports.
• Liaise with the China export team, product lines, and logistics providers to optimize delivery timelines.
• Negotiate shipping quotations while balancing cost efficiency and service commitments.
• Ensure compliance with all logistics regulations and support emerging regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in import/export and heavy machinery transportation.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field.
• Highly organized with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent English communication.
