Mechanic – Equipment Maintenance (Ivory Coast)

About the role

Expro is seeking a Mechanic to keep its equipment and machinery in Ivory Coast operating safely and efficiently. The role involves routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of a wide range of computer‑controlled and mechanical assets.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update codes and programs for computer‑controlled machinery, record parts usage and order replacements.
• Inspect parts for defects, document repairs, and replace worn or broken components.
• Diagnose equipment problems using test results, error messages, and operator feedback.
• Study blueprints and manufacturers’ manuals to ensure correct installation and operation.
• Clean, lubricate, adjust, disassemble and reassemble machinery as required.
• Test repaired equipment with voltmeters and other testing devices to verify functionality.
• Follow Expro’s Code of Conduct, Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental policies and report any deviations.

Required profile

• Working knowledge of machines, tools and their design, repair and maintenance.
• Understanding of engineering and computer‑science principles applied to equipment production.
• Relevant hands‑on experience in mechanical maintenance or a similar field.
• Commitment to quality improvement, safety standards and ethical conduct.

Required skills

• Programming and maintenance of computer‑controlled machinery.
• Electrical testing using voltmeters and related devices.
• Blueprint and technical manual interpretation.
• Mechanical repair, lubrication and adjustment techniques.
