About the role
The Motorman will support offshore oil and gas operations by maintaining and operating marine diesel engines and related equipment. This position requires strong maritime mechanical knowledge and the ability to work in challenging offshore environments.
Key responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and maintain diesel engines on offshore platforms.
- Inspect, service, and repair marine pumps and auxiliary systems.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical failures.
- Document maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to optimize equipment performance.
Required profile
- BAC+2 degree in maritime mechanics or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the offshore oil or gas sector.
- Proven ability to work on diesel engines and marine pump systems.
- Willingness to work offshore for extended periods.
