People Partner

About the role

Wave is seeking a Strategic People Partner to shape employee experience, talent initiatives, and organizational design across its African operations. You will work closely with business leaders to support performance, development, and culture as the company scales.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leads to assess and evolve team structures, facilitating organization health reviews and change management.
• Collaborate with L&D to identify development needs, support individual development planning, and track learning participation.
• Assist leaders with talent management, performance review cycles, succession planning, and building a strong talent pipeline.
• Manage internship and rotation programs, from recruitment to onboarding and conversion.
• Work with Marketing and Communications to strengthen employer branding and create content for recruiting campaigns.

Required profile

• 5-8 years of experience in recruiting, learning & development, talent management, or HR business partnering in a high‑growth environment.
• Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or equivalent.
• Fluent in French and English with strong negotiation and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Hands‑on experience managing employee relations and building consensus on HR strategy.
