Program Officer – Cocoa Cluster

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Program Officer to support the Cocoa cluster. You will help develop, implement and monitor programs that advance sustainable trade and supply‑chain initiatives while ensuring alignment with organisational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in designing and rolling out projects, strategic plans and roadmaps for the cocoa sector.
• Create and maintain project documentation, track progress and provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders.
• Support fundraising efforts and proposal development using Salesforce.
• Draft and monitor contracts, ensuring compliance with financial and procurement policies.
• Monitor budget allocations, expenditures and data quality for program reporting.
• Coordinate logistics, resource allocation and annual planning activities.
• Facilitate monitoring & evaluation (M&E) across the portfolio and assist with donor reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, environmental management or a related social science.
• At least 3 years of experience in international organisations, business development or public‑private partnership projects.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proven interest in sustainability and experience with sustainable trade approaches.
