Project Finance & Compliance Manager

About the role

The Project Finance & Compliance Manager will support the launch and ongoing operations of a large‑scale cocoa supply‑chain resilience program in Côte d'Ivoire. Working in a flexible hybrid environment, you will ensure financial integrity, contractual compliance, and risk management across all project activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage financial plans, sub‑grantee contracts, and grant agreements.
• Coordinate annual budget planning, donor reporting, and audit facilitation.
• Monitor expenses, revenues, and financial performance of sub‑grantees, providing capacity‑building support where needed.
• Maintain compliance with donor requirements and Rainforest Alliance policies, implementing internal controls and financial protocols.
• Produce regular financial reports, expense projections, accruals, and reclassification requests for donors and internal stakeholders.
• Support the Finance and Internal Compliance teams with backup, deadline management, and cross‑functional coordination.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project finance management, preferably within donor‑funded or agricultural initiatives.
• Strong understanding of compliance, risk management, and contractual oversight.
• Ability to work collaboratively with technical units and external partners.
• Legal authorization to work in Côte d'Ivoire.
