Retail Local Manager – TECNO

About the role

The Retail Local Manager will lead TECNO’s retail operations in Abidjan, driving sales performance and ensuring brand standards across all assigned outlets. You will develop local sales strategies, supervise store teams, and collaborate with distributors to expand market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets by implementing effective sales plans.
• Supervise all assigned retail outlets, ensuring compliance with TECNO standards and optimal product availability.
• Recruit, train, coach and evaluate promoters and retail supervisors, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and retail partners, resolving operational issues promptly.
• Oversee visual merchandising, POSM deployment and store audits to maintain a premium brand image.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly performance reports, analyse KPIs and provide actionable business recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management or a related field.
• 2–3 years of retail management experience, preferably in consumer electronics or mobile phones.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Strong leadership, analytical and communication abilities.
