Sales Group Lead

About the role

Wave is on a mission to make Africa the first cashless continent by providing fee‑free, instantly available financial services. As the Sales Group Lead in Côte d’Ivoire, you will design and execute the sales strategy for our business products and lead a team of sales representatives to grow the customer portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a sales strategy for Wave’s business products, including APIs, bulk payments, cash collection, and merchant payments.
• Recruit, onboard, and manage a team of sales representatives focused on acquiring and expanding business clients.
• Identify and nurture relationships with key organizations, driving cross‑selling and revenue growth.
• Own the sales pipeline, documenting progress to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
• Define inbound lead requirements and build a prospecting‑to‑activation funnel.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Engineering, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless client onboarding.

• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a sales team.
