Sales Representative – Prime Products

About the role

Caterpillar is seeking a motivated Sales Representative for Prime Products, Buckets and Bodies to drive dealer engagement, customer development, and sales growth across an assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong dealer and customer relationships to increase market share.
• Identify, qualify and pursue sales opportunities, supporting dealers through tender submissions, quotations and negotiations.
• Collaborate with product groups to execute pursuit strategies and position Caterpillar competitively on key projects.
• Conduct pass‑match analyses, recommend optimal bucket and body sizing, and support forecasting and business planning.
• Monitor dealer performance, implement corrective actions and drive adoption of new products and technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, dealer development, business development or account management within heavy equipment, mining, construction or related industries.
• Proven experience in dealer management, commercial strategy, tender support and opportunity management.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the region (up to 30%).
