Senior Finance Associate – G7 (Abidjan)

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a Senior Finance Associate (G‑7) for its Abidjan office. The role supports the organization’s mission to promote children’s rights by ensuring finance functions are accurate, timely and compliant with UNICEF financial rules.

Key responsibilities

• Provide support and oversight to transactional finance teams.
• Deliver technical expertise and procedural oversight to ensure consistent adherence to UNICEF financial regulations.
• Research, adapt and evaluate irregular financial cases.
• Recommend improvements to finance process delivery and design.
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of specialized finance tasks.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to work independently at a G‑7 level.
• Strong knowledge of UNICEF financial rules and regulations.
• Capacity to analyze irregular cases and propose process enhancements.
