Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to independently lead risk‑based audit engagements across operational, financial, compliance, IT and strategic areas. The role supports governance, risk management and internal control objectives by delivering high‑quality audit work, insightful observations and practical recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and report audit engagements with limited supervision, developing risk‑based audit programs and testing procedures.
• Conduct interviews, walkthroughs, process reviews and control assessments, and perform detailed testing and analysis.
• Prepare clear audit observations, root‑cause analyses and actionable recommendations; present findings to management and support executive‑level summaries.
• Evaluate design and operating effectiveness of key controls, identify weaknesses, inefficiencies and emerging risks.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with business stakeholders, challenge management responses and act as a trusted advisor while preserving independence.
• Supervise and review junior auditors, provide coaching and promote knowledge sharing within the audit team.

Required profile

• Strong analytical abilities and professional skepticism.
• Business acumen with the capacity to challenge existing processes constructively.
• Proven experience leading audit engagements from planning through reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to coach and develop junior team members.
