Senior Logistics Associate

About the role

The Senior Logistics Associate leads end‑to‑end logistics operations for Genser Energy, ensuring timely, cost‑effective movement, storage and delivery of critical equipment and materials across corporate and remote sites.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics planning and execution for operational, maintenance and project activities, acting as the focal point for urgent shipments.
• Plan transport routes, supervise freight forwarders, and manage fleet utilization to meet service level agreements.
• Oversee warehouse operations, inventory control and stock reconciliation, ensuring visibility of critical spares.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, Operations and Finance to align logistics execution with business needs.
• Ensure compliance with local and international logistics regulations, HSE standards and customs requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement, cost optimisation and reporting of logistics KPIs.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years logistics or supply‑chain experience in an international, industrial or energy environment.
• Proven supervisory experience (at least 4 years) and multicultural work exposure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field; higher degrees or certifications (CILT, CSCP) are a plus.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, dashboards)
• SharePoint for document management
• ERP systems experience (SAP, Sage300 or similar)
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations and import/export processes
