Senior Procurement Associate

About the role

The Senior Procurement Associate will lead the procurement of goods, services and works for Genser Energy’s head office operations and projects across power stations, pipelines and mid‑stream infrastructure, as well as indirect procurement supporting ESG, HR and general services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies, manage tender processes, evaluate bids and select suppliers while meeting project deadlines, quality and budget requirements.
• Maintain supplier relationships, monitor performance using KPIs, conduct audits and drive corrective actions to ensure continuity of supply.
• Ensure accurate supplier data in Sage X3 ERP, oversee document management and compliance with internal policies and regulations.
• Contribute to budget preparation, track expenditures, analyse variances and identify cost‑optimisation opportunities.
• Supervise a team of Supply Chain Analysts, set objectives, conduct performance appraisals and support professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or BTS) with at least 8 years of procurement experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Professional proficiency in French and English; knowledge of Chinese is a plus.
• Experience in energy, infrastructure or industrial projects and proven ability to manage international suppliers.
