Senior Manager Sales & Distribution – Africa

About the role

The Senior Manager Sales & Distribution – Africa leads a cross‑functional commercial team to drive growth for Caterpillar’s SEM brand across the African region. You will be responsible for delivering revenue targets, expanding market share, and enhancing the dealer network while ensuring a superior customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the business plan for prime product sales and achieve PINS (percent of industry new sales) targets for the SEM brand.
• Deliver the business plan for aftermarket parts sales and meet revenue goals.
• Execute the SEM distribution strategy, optimise dealer effectiveness and manage dealer administration.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to improve channel performance and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align commercial, operational and customer strategies.
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing team, building capability and succession pipelines.
• Create a high‑performance culture focused on sustainable, profitable growth.

• Proven leadership experience managing commercial teams in sales and distribution.
• Track record of delivering revenue growth and market share expansion.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence cross‑functional partners.
