About the role

LOCAGRI is seeking motivated interns to conduct socioeconomic field surveys with rice producers in Côte d'Ivoire. You will gather and transmit data that supports the company’s agricultural development projects.

Key responsibilities

Carry out socioeconomic interviews with rice farmers and cooperatives.
Collect data on farms and rice plots using digital questionnaires on a smartphone.
Verify the quality and consistency of the information gathered.
Transmit daily collected data to the project team.

Required profile

At least a Brevet de Technicien (BT), preferably in agriculture, rural development, statistics, IT or a related field.
Available for the full duration of the mission.
Strong communication skills in French; knowledge of a local language is a plus.
Rigorous, dynamic, and able to work in the field.
Own a smartphone for data collection.
