Store Manager - Ivory Coast

About the role

Glovo, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is hiring a Store Manager in the Ivory Coast (job reference JR0086258). The role covers daily store operations, team leadership, inventory control and customer experience, in line with Glovo's standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all store activities: receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, packing, dispatch, returns and waste management, keeping the store ready to serve customers during opening hours.
• Manage the store team, organize shifts, set expectations, coach staff and monitor performance.
• Run daily inventory routines: cycle counts, stock reconciliation, expiry checks and investigation of discrepancies.
• Ensure orders are prepared accurately and on time, and act on the root causes of customer complaints.
• Monitor performance such as order preparation time, picking productivity, labour efficiency, waste and stock losses, and use data to adjust staffing and workflows.
• Maintain a clean, safe store and comply with food handling, cold-chain, hygiene and storage standards and local regulations.
• Work with central operations, supply, category management and demand planning to improve product availability and adopt new processes.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in store management, retail, supermarket, FMCG distribution, warehousing or another high-volume environment.
• Proven people management: supervising a frontline team, organizing shifts and coaching staff.
• Strong inventory management experience: stock counts, replenishment, discrepancies, expiry dates and waste management.
• Comfortable using Excel or Google Sheets to track KPIs and follow up on corrective actions.
• Clear communication with teams and stakeholders; working in French is required, professional English is an advantage.
• Experience in supermarkets, modern trade, convenience retail or quick-commerce is a strong plus; experience with inventory, warehouse or cold-chain systems is also an advantage.
