Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Partner (Bilingual)

About the role

We are looking for a bilingual Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Partner to drive Jaza’s expansion across English‑ and French‑speaking markets in Sub‑Saharan Africa. You will own the end‑to‑end recruitment process, build talent pipelines, and ensure a smooth transition for new hires from offer to day one.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full‑cycle recruitment for leadership, technical, operational and business roles.
• Develop and maintain talent pipelines using LinkedIn, referrals, university partnerships and niche job boards.
• Screen candidates, conduct structured interviews and uphold Jaza’s values throughout the hiring journey.
• Design and execute a comprehensive pre‑onboarding and onboarding program in partnership with hiring managers and functional leads.
• Monitor new‑hire progress during the first 30‑60‑90 days and flag any risks.
• Partner with hiring managers on role definition, interview planning and assessment design.
• Document and continuously improve recruitment workflows aligned with the PeopleHum ATS.
• Produce internal job bulletins and new‑joiner announcements to promote internal mobility.

Required profile

• Proven experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably in fast‑growing environments.
• Strong communication skills in both English and French.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams.
• Data‑driven mindset with a focus on delivering a positive candidate experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (e.g., PeopleHum) and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn.
