Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

BIA Group, active in the sale, rental and after-sales service of equipment for public works, mines, quarries and transport, is hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist. You will join a team of 50+ HR professionals supporting HR across more than 15 countries in Africa, Mauritius and Belgium, and will be mainly based in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. You will manage and run recruitment for local and regional positions in Ivory Coast and support recruitment in other West and Central African countries where BIA operates.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment process for permanent and temporary positions, including pre-requirements meetings with hiring managers and refining job adverts
• Maintain the recruitment process and applicant data in the ATS (SAP SuccessFactors)
• Screen applications, organise and lead HR interviews, follow up business interviews and negotiate salary packages
• Coordinate onboarding and contribute to the talent pool, while supporting the Recruitment & Mobility Manager on group-level recruitment projects
• Work with recruitment agencies where applicable and take part in country-specific events such as job fairs and employer branding activities

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in HR or equivalent
• At least 4 years of international recruitment experience
• Fluent French and English, spoken and written
• Recruitment experience in mining or construction is ideal; experience using social media for candidate sourcing is a strong advantage
• Willingness to travel short-term (1-2 weeks per year) mainly across West and Central Africa

Required skills

• Familiarity with HR databases; SAP SuccessFactors is an advantage
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Customer focus, team orientation, result orientation, proactivity, influence and persuasion
