Territory Rental & Used Operations Representative

About the role

The Territory Rental & Used Operations Representative will drive growth of Caterpillar’s construction equipment rental and used‑equipment business within an assigned territory. You will partner with Caterpillar dealers to expand their rental fleets, meet annual sales targets, and support profitable growth strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Guide dealers through the annual business planning process, ensuring accurate rental revenue forecasts.
• Promote Caterpillar rental and used‑equipment solutions, advising on configurations best suited for the rental market.
• Conduct regular performance and operational reviews with dealers, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with Caterpillar Allied vendor teams to identify additional rental revenue opportunities.
• Assess dealer performance, recommend actions to maximize participation in rental programs, and support dealer training needs.
• Monitor competitive landscape and advise dealers on optimal rollout strategies to enhance profitability.
• Visit customers to gather field insights on needs and competition.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years of experience in equipment rental, sales, or related commercial roles.
• Proven ability to manage dealer relationships and drive revenue growth.
• Strong analytical skills for forecasting and performance evaluation.
