Bilingual Construction and Deployments Lead – Côte d'Ivoire

About the role

Zipline is expanding its long‑range autonomous drone network in Côte d'Ivoire and needs a senior leader to own the construction and deployment of new distribution centres. The role combines project management, stakeholder coordination and on‑the‑ground execution to ensure each site meets global standards while adapting to local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the deployment strategy for all new Zipline distribution centres across Côte d'Ivoire.
• Lead cross‑functional coordination between local teams and global functions such as Engineering, Supply Chain, Legal, Regulatory and Partnerships.
• Secure site acquisition, permits and approvals by partnering with government agencies and local authorities.
• Oversee construction activities, vendor management and operational hand‑over to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain alignment with Zipline’s global standards while tailoring processes to the Côte d'Ivoire regulatory context.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in construction, infrastructure deployment or large‑scale project delivery.
• Strong ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and French.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering projects on time and within budget in emerging markets.
