Expansion Manager – Côte d’Ivoire

About the role

We are looking for an Expansion Manager to drive Tether’s growth and presence in Côte d’Ivoire and the wider Francophone region. The role will focus on business development, partnership creation and navigating regulatory environments.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, engage and secure new business opportunities across Côte d’Ivoire and neighboring Francophone markets.
• Build and manage strategic partnerships with banks, fintechs, and large corporates.
• Design and execute go‑to‑market strategies for USDT integration and other Tether solutions.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis and monitor regulatory changes.
• Represent Tether at industry events and maintain relationships with regulators and government agencies.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Management or Finance (MBA preferred) with 7‑10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical abilities and proven KPI monitoring experience.
• Proactive, independent and well‑organized, able to thrive in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments.
• Track record of building and managing strategic partnerships.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of the Francophone market, culture and blockchain/fintech regulations.
• Existing relationships with BCEAO and national central banks across WAEMU.
• Fluent in English and French (native preferred).
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
