About the role
The Financial Assistant will support the finance team by managing core financial planning, reporting, and compliance activities. This role ensures accurate financial data, facilitates strategic decision‑making, and maintains robust controls across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and oversee budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis processes.
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports and disclosures in line with US GAAP/IFRS.
- Provide regular financial insights and KPI analysis to senior management.
- Manage tax planning, compliance and reporting, including VAT and corporation tax.
- Coordinate external audits and address audit findings.
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity and working‑capital requirements.
- Establish and maintain financial controls and procedures.
- Evaluate and implement financial systems and tools to improve reporting efficiency.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3‑5 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, reporting or audit management.
- Advanced degree (MBA, MSc) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Required skills
- Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Tax compliance and reporting (VAT, corporation tax).
- Audit coordination.
- Financial systems evaluation and implementation.
