Senior Financial Accountant – Ivory Coast

About the role

The Financial Accountant will own end‑to‑end finance and accounting for PEIA, ensuring accurate month‑end close, reporting, and compliance. Based in the PK 24 Industrial Zone, the role combines technical accounting expertise with team leadership to drive performance and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of all financial records, including income, liabilities and asset registers.
• Lead month‑end close, prepare statutory reports, coordinate internal and external audits and the Annual Report.
• Prepare financial statements under SYSOHADA and ensure timely statutory audit closure.
• Perform balance‑sheet, bank and VAT reconciliations, and manage all tax‑related filings.
• Process journals with supporting documentation, manage petty cash and oversee CAPEX tracking.
• Produce monthly finance performance indicators, management presentations and quarterly board packs.
• Interact with banks for daily activities and reporting, and support funding, shareholder loan and equity documentation.
