Mining Site Technician

About the role

BIA Group is seeking a Mining Site Technician to provide effective technical interventions on equipment used in mining operations across Ivory Coast. The role focuses on ensuring equipment reliability, maximizing utilization, and delivering high customer satisfaction under BIA’s maintenance contracts and SLA agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Erect, configure, modify, maintain, troubleshoot and repair field equipment according to shop manuals and OEM standards.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to guarantee continuous equipment functionality.
• Follow planning instructions, complete required reporting, and represent BIA’s values on site.
• Maintain safe working conditions, adhere to HSE policies, and report any health, safety or environmental issues.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) and act responsibly in all situations.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with field equipment maintenance and repair.
• Strong understanding of safety and environmental procedures.
• Ability to follow technical documentation and report accurately.
• Team‑oriented attitude with a commitment to BIA’s standards.
