Operational Readiness Scheduler

About the role

The Operational Readiness Scheduler supports the Operations team by creating, maintaining and monitoring integrated schedules that enable a smooth transition from project delivery to steady‑state mining operations. The role ensures that all readiness activities across mining, processing, maintenance, supply chain and site services are properly coordinated.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive Operational Readiness schedules for all operational departments.
• Integrate schedules for mining, process plant, maintenance, supply chain and site services, linking them to project completion milestones.
• Design and implement progress measurement systems, defining KPIs and tracking readiness progress.
• Monitor schedule performance weekly and monthly, identify risks, delays and critical‑path issues, and report to Operations leadership.
• Coordinate with operational teams to collect schedule inputs, facilitate review meetings and ensure consistent updates.
• Drive continuous improvement of scheduling processes, tools, dashboards and reporting templates.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Mining Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Project Management.
• 3–5 years of planning or scheduling experience, preferably in the mining industry.
• Experience with operational readiness or commissioning planning is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills; ability to work across multiple departments.
• Fluency in English and French.
