About the role
Saipem is seeking a Payroll Officer to manage and process payroll for its onshore operations in Abidjan. You will ensure accurate, timely payments and compliance with local regulations while supporting continuous improvement of payroll processes.
Key responsibilities
- Collect payroll variables, perform calculations in Excel, and upload data to the payroll software.
- Explain payroll details to employees and address related queries.
- Prepare tax and social security declarations (CNPS and CMU).
- Calculate termination fees and manage end‑of‑contract payments.
- Monitor drafting of employment contracts for local staff.
- Handle pre‑registration and residency card processes for expatriate workers.
- Collect documentation for expatriate contracts and coordinate with external firms.
- Generate real‑time payroll reports.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree (BAC +3) or higher in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- 3–5 years of payroll experience, preferably in the oil and gas sector.
- Strong knowledge of the Ivorian labor code and related regulations.
- Proficiency in English, especially terminology related to payroll, accounting, and taxation.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
- Experience with payroll software.
