Procurement Officer (Mechanical & HVAC)

About the role

JMG Group is seeking a highly organized Procurement Officer to manage the sourcing and purchasing of mechanical and HVAC materials for its projects across Ivory Coast. The role supports project execution teams by ensuring that all procured items meet technical specifications, budget constraints, and delivery schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Source and procure mechanical and HVAC components such as VRF/VRV systems, air handling units, chillers, ducting, piping, insulation, and related accessories.
• Handle RFQs, evaluate supplier quotations, perform price comparisons, and conduct commercial assessments.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contractual agreements with suppliers.
• Coordinate with engineering and project teams to verify technical compliance of all materials.
• Monitor inventory levels, manage replenishment, and ensure timely delivery to project sites.
• Maintain and update the supplier database, assess supplier performance, and prepare procurement reports and purchase orders.
• Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams for shipment handling and ensure compliance with company policies and budget targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience procuring HVAC/MEP materials.
• Strong knowledge of VRF/VRV systems, AHUs, chillers, ducting, piping, and insulation.
• Proven negotiation skills and commercial awareness.
• Fluency in English; French is an advantage.
