Business Development Director – Senegal

About the role

Visa is seeking a senior Business Development Director to lead its growth and strategic agenda in Senegal. As the senior representative of Visa in the country, you will deepen client and regulatory relationships while overseeing Visa’s operations and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute Senegal‑specific strategy aligned with CEMEA regional priorities.
• Represent Visa with regulators (Bank of Senegal), media, government bodies, and key ecosystem stakeholders.
• Shape the local digital payments landscape by identifying growth drivers and removing operational and regulatory barriers.
• Monitor market dynamics, competitive activity, and regulatory changes to drive proactive strategic responses.
• Manage full P&L responsibilities, including budgeting, revenue targets, account receivables, and operating expenses.

Required profile

• Senior representative with proven leadership in business development.
• Experience engaging with regulators, government agencies, and major ecosystem partners.
• Ability to lead strategic initiatives and drive performance across a country market.
