HR Manager – Cashew

About the role

We are looking for an HR Manager – Cashew to act as the strategic and operational HR partner for our cashew business in Côte d'Ivoire. The role will drive people strategies, workforce planning, talent management and employee relations across processing plants and commercial operations, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to align workforce plans, advise on organization design, capability building, restructuring and change management.
• Lead recruitment and workforce planning to attract and retain talent for seasonal and long‑term needs, ensuring timely hiring for operational, technical and managerial positions.
• Manage employee relations, disciplinary procedures, investigations, grievance handling and conflict resolution while supporting engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
• Oversee compensation and benefits processes, including salary benchmarking, merit increases, promotions and administration of reward programs.
• Ensure HR policies, compliance with Côte d'Ivoire labor laws, and effective administration of the employee lifecycle from onboarding to separation.
• Monitor HR analytics such as headcount, attrition, absenteeism and recruitment effectiveness, using data to drive decisions and improve performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology or related field; Master’s degree or professional HR certification preferred.
• 8–12 years of progressive HR experience, including 3–5 years in an HR leadership or Business Partner role.
• Experience in manufacturing, agriculture, food processing, FMCG or commodity sectors, with strong exposure to employee relations and labor law matters.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
