Lead Consultant – French Speaking (West Africa)

About the role

We are seeking a French‑speaking Lead Consultant to join a consulting‑led engagement for a public‑sector client in West Africa. The role is remote with periodic travel to Côte d’Ivoire and involves driving strategic workstreams, managing senior stakeholder relationships, and delivering actionable recommendations in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage consulting workstreams from initiation through delivery.
• Conduct strategic assessments, operational reviews, and business analyses.
• Develop data‑driven insights and executive‑level recommendations.
• Support transformation planning, operating model reviews, and strategic initiatives.
• Prepare and deliver structured presentations, reports, and stakeholder materials.
• Facilitate workshops, steering committee discussions, and strategic meetings with senior public‑sector leaders.
• Coordinate activities across consulting and client teams, manage risks, and ensure alignment with project objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of professional consulting or advisory experience.
• Strong background in strategy consulting, transformation, or operational advisory.
• Experience with top‑tier consulting firms (e.g., BCG, McKinsey, Bain) preferred.
• Experience working with public‑sector entities, government institutions, or regulatory bodies is advantageous.
• Regional exposure across Africa, especially West Africa and Côte d’Ivoire, is highly beneficial.

Required skills

• Fluent in French and English.
• Proficiency in data analysis and presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel).
