Merchant Account Supervisor

About the role

Wave is building a cashless Africa and needs a results‑driven professional to lead merchant success across its network. As a Merchant Account Supervisor you will own the end‑to‑end deployment and ongoing management of corporate merchant products, ensuring smooth onboarding, branding, compliance and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate merchant onboarding, product training, branding and technical account setup for corporate merchants in Côte d’Ivoire.
• Monitor merchant activation, performance metrics and engagement throughout the partnership lifecycle.
• Manage a portfolio of partners, tracking transaction volumes, identifying growth opportunities and defining joint strategies.
• Organise regular business and performance review meetings with partners.
• Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholder contacts, including aggregators and API partners.
• Oversee KYB documentation and resolve operational tickets related to aggregated merchants.

Required profile

• Proven experience in merchant onboarding, account management or partner success within fintech or payments.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to track performance data and spot growth opportunities.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Result‑oriented attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.
