Mobile Money Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mobile Money Engineer to design, install, and maintain end‑to‑end mobile money solutions for our clients in Abidjan. The role combines hardware deployment, private‑cloud configuration and application integration to ensure reliable payment services.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure X86 servers, Oceanstore storage, network switches and firewalls, and design low‑level infrastructure topology, IP scheme, virtual machines and storage.
• Deploy FusionSphere private‑cloud platform, including VM, OS, database and mobile‑money software installation.
• Integrate and commission mobile‑money services, perform functional, performance, integration and acceptance testing, and manage service migration.
• Analyse new requirements, produce functional specifications, configure test‑bed and production environments, and support daily instance configuration for customers.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, conduct health checks, perform DR switchover tests and maintain monitoring, KPI dashboards and alarm systems.
• Provide ongoing maintenance, issue handling, network topology updates and risk‑contingency planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (BAC+3) or higher in Computer Science, Telecommunications or related field.
• Strong experience with hardware installation, Linux (SUSE) scripting and SQL command execution.
• Proficiency in English reading and writing.
