Social Performance Supervisor – Livelihood Restoration & IGA

About the role

The Social Performance Supervisor will lead the design, implementation and monitoring of Livelihood Restoration & Improvement Programs (LRP) and Income‑Generating Activities (IGAs) for Project Affected Persons (PAPs) of the Assavo‑Dibibango Project. The role ensures that displaced households restore or improve their livelihoods in line with the IFC Good Practice Handbook 2024 criteria.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct livelihood diagnostics, coordinate field census and parcel verification, and produce individual asset sheets for each PAP.
• Apply full replacement cost methodology for structures and ensure completeness and traceability of all PAP files before validation.
• Document assumptions, sources and calculation methods for internal and external audits.
• Design LRP packages by socio‑economic profile, including training, inputs, technical support, market access and financing.
• Structure cooperatives, mutuals and Village Savings & Loan Associations in compliance with OHADA and Ivorian cooperative law.
• Develop gender‑focused IGAs (e.g., agri‑food processing, soap‑making) and youth‑oriented IGAs (e.g., agribusiness services).

Required profile

• Proven experience in livelihood restoration, resettlement action plans or social performance monitoring.
• Familiarity with the IFC Good Practice Handbook 2024 and its success criteria.
• Knowledge of OHADA and Ivorian cooperative legislation.
• Strong understanding of gender‑responsive program design and youth engagement.
