Access Manager – Pricing & Market Access

About the role

The Access Manager will shape and execute the Pricing & Market Access (P&MA) strategy for the assigned country, ensuring that new and existing Novartis products achieve optimal reimbursement and market uptake. Working closely with the Head of Value & Access, you will monitor market dynamics, engage key stakeholders, and translate insights into actionable plans.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate and implement the country‑specific P&MA strategy and operational plan.
• Monitor reimbursement and pricing changes, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Conduct market assessments to map access drivers and craft compelling value stories.
• Support the SSA Head of Value & Access in building pricing strategies and preparing global value dossiers, health‑economic models, and value narratives.
• Collaborate with Key Account Managers to align strategic pricing with country decisions.
• Engage payers and decision‑makers to gather insights for impactful actions.
• Deliver training on HEOR tools, objection handling, and value story communication.
• Design and execute advocacy activities for priority Novartis brands.
• Represent Novartis in trade associations and policy working groups.

Required profile

• University degree in Life Sciences, Business Management, Health Economics or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in market access, reimbursement dossier preparation, external affairs, advocacy, or pricing.

Required skills

• Health‑economics modeling and HEOR tools.
