Customer Service Specialist French Speaker (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual French‑English Customer Service Specialist to join our remote call‑center team supporting an online travel platform. The role involves handling inbound and outbound calls, managing cases, and providing first‑level assistance to homeowners using the booking system.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound and make outbound customer service calls.
• Manage cases, log interactions, and maintain accurate call histories.
• Assist customers with modifications, cancellations, deposit claims, and escalations.
• Classify and follow up on all customer interactions.
• Analyze call data and share feedback with internal teams.
• Stay updated on platform and process changes.

Required profile

• Professional‑level French (C2) and fluent English.
• Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a call‑center environment.
• Ability to multitask between live calls and case handling.
• Strong computer literacy and experience working online.
• Clear, empathetic communication under pressure.

Required skills

• Zendesk or similar ticketing platform.
• Slack or other online collaboration tools.
• Salesforce and standard office applications.
• Windows 11 or macOS 14 operating system.
• Stable broadband internet (LAN preferred), wired USB headset.
• Minimum hardware: 1.8 GHz processor, 8 GB RAM, 10 GB storage, 1920 × 1080 screen resolution.
