Fleet Director – Vehicle & Repair Management

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Fleet Director to own the end‑to‑end vehicle and repair function for Côte d’Ivoire’s first all‑electric fleet. You will be responsible for importing EVs, establishing logistics, building workshop networks, and ensuring high fleet uptime while controlling costs.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee vehicle import from customs clearance to depot delivery, coordinating with logistics partners and authorities.
• Design and manage ground logistics for moving vehicles and spare parts across depots and workshops.
• Build and lead a workshop network, recruit and train technicians, and set maintenance standards.
• Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs, focusing on battery health and high‑voltage safety.
• Control spare‑parts inventory, negotiate with suppliers, and monitor costs.
• Manage insurance, risk, and compliance for the fleet.
• Track fleet uptime as the primary performance metric and continuously improve operational continuity.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing vehicle fleets, preferably electric vehicles.
• Strong background in import logistics, customs processes, and workshop operations.
• Leadership ability to build and scale teams, including a dedicated import and logistics lead.
• Track record of delivering high availability and cost‑effective maintenance.
