General Manager - Home

About the role

MTN Côte d'Ivoire is looking for a General Manager Home to lead a newly established and evolving division. The role drives the end-to-end strategy, operations and performance of the Home Business Unit, covering fixed broadband (FTTH, FWA), home wireless, devices and managed services. It is based in Côte d'Ivoire, and fluency in both English and French is essential; a local or expatriate contract is available.

Key responsibilities

• Define the roadmap, drive innovation and business growth within the home segment, which is one of the Group's first markets to operationalise this initiative.
• Drive subscriber growth, revenue performance and customer experience across the home broadband portfolio, aligned with Opco priorities.
• Oversee Sales & Distribution, Product Marketing, Customer Operations, Technology, Devices and Channel Integration through direct leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
• Scale home broadband offerings across markets while managing operational efficiency, partner ecosystems and market readiness for rollouts.
• Foster innovation in go-to-market models, digital service delivery and customer engagement, using data-led decisions and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Minimum 4-year tertiary qualification in Business, Telecommunications, Engineering or a related field; an MBA or similar is highly desirable.
• At least 12 years of relevant experience in telecom, broadband, fixed wireless or home connectivity, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record leading end-to-end home broadband functions and launching customer-centric innovations such as smart home bundles, usage-based pricing or home self-service platforms.
• Experience in African or other emerging markets, with sensitivity to local customer behaviour and affordability.
• Fluency in English and French; the country language is preferable.

Required skills

• Leading cross-functional teams across product, marketing, analytics and other disciplines.
• Managing FTTH, FWA and in-home services, including deployments, rollouts, service fulfilment and post-installation support.
• Using KPIs, dashboards and operational data to make informed decisions.
