Group Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)

About the role

The Group Chief Human Resources Officer (G‑CHRO) will shape and execute the HR strategy for the Aurum Group, fostering a high‑performance, employee‑focused culture that aligns with the Group’s business transformation plan. Reporting to the Group CEO and sitting on the executive management team, the G‑CHRO acts as a strategic partner to senior leaders across all operating units.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead a Group‑wide HR strategy, policies, systems and practices that support empowerment, productivity and talent development.
• Serve as a strategic business partner, advising the Group CEO, country directors and senior executives on HR matters.
• Oversee the implementation of the full HR suite—including transactional services, policy development, HRIS, and talent programs—across the Group and in‑country teams.
• Conduct high‑level analysis of HR data, identify trends, and produce strategic reports for decision‑making.
• Identify and address complex operational HR challenges, model alternative solutions and update frameworks.
• Perform SWOT analysis of HR capabilities, interpret changing organisational environments, and design HR components for new entities.
• Ensure compliance with country‑specific labour laws, mitigate HR‑related risks and monitor regulatory changes.
• Lead budgeting and resource allocation for efficient HR operations.

Required profile

• Extensive senior HR leadership experience, preferably at Group or multinational level.
• Proven ability to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Deep knowledge of labour legislation across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with experience in high‑level reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
