Head of Vehicle Management

About the role

The Head of Vehicle Management leads the end‑to‑end lifecycle of a company’s vehicle fleet, ensuring readiness, compliance and operational efficiency across acquisition, warehousing, logistics and deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve vehicle management policies, procedures and standards.
• Oversee vehicle quantity, quality, condition and availability to meet operational needs.
• Ensure all legal documentation (registration, licences, insurance, permits) is maintained and compliant.
• Monitor vehicle records, renew documentation timely and support drivers with compliance.
• Manage vehicle inventory in warehouses, track condition, security and readiness.
• Implement controls to protect vehicle assets and reduce loss or damage.
• Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, logistics providers and authorities for importation, transportation and delivery.
• Supervise vehicle receiving, inspection and handover processes.
• Lead registration, licensing and regulatory approval processes for deployment.
• Align deployment plans with fleet expansion and operational requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years experience in fleet management, vehicle operations, transportation, logistics or asset management.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle registration, legal compliance, insurance and fleet administration.
• Proven experience managing vehicle imports, deployment processes and warehouse operations.
• Excellent stakeholder management, planning and execution abilities.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, rapidly growing environment.
