HR Business Partner – West Africa

About the role

Based in Abidjan, the HR Business Partner will support Puratos’ operations across Ivory Coast, West Africa, Cameroon and Nigeria, overseeing a workforce of roughly 50 employees. The role combines HR operations, payroll coordination, recruitment, employee relations and talent development within a fast‑growing international food‑ingredients company.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day HR operations ensuring compliance with local legislation and alignment with Group HR policies.
• Coordinate payroll processing and maintain accurate employee records and HR data.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding and integration of new talent across the region.
• Oversee the full employee lifecycle – contracts, probation reviews, disciplinary actions, promotions and off‑boarding.
• Provide advice to managers and employees on employee‑relations matters and daily HR queries.
• Support performance‑management, talent‑development, salary‑review and learning initiatives.
• Produce HR reports and continuously improve HR processes and services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Law or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably in an international or multi‑entity environment.
• Strong knowledge of core HR processes: recruitment, payroll coordination, employee administration, performance management, employee relations and compliance.
