Junior QHSE Specialist (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior QHSE Specialist to support our partner’s risk management and compliance framework in Cocody, Abidjan. This entry‑level position offers the opportunity to develop practical expertise in quality, health, safety and environmental standards within a dynamic organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor the company’s QHSE policy.
• Identify, assess and mitigate professional and environmental risks.
• Ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory QHSE requirements.
• Conduct internal audits, site inspections and regular controls.
• Raise awareness, train and coach staff on best QHSE practices.
• Prepare QHSE reports, procedures and performance dashboards.
• Lead corrective and preventive actions following incidents or non‑conformities.
• Maintain regulatory watch and propose continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in QHSE, HSE, Environment or a related field.
• 0‑2 years of experience; recent graduates are welcome.
• Good knowledge of QHSE standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Strong organizational, analytical and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams.
• Residence in Cocody is an advantage.
