Materials Coordinator – Gold Project (Ivory Coast)

About the role

We are seeking experienced Materials Coordinators to support our new gold project in Ivory Coast. The role reports to the Lead Contracts Administrator and involves ensuring timely, accurate delivery of materials and managing transport and logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of procured materials in line with project schedules and budgets.
• Manage the Transport & Logistics package in coordination with the appointed T&L contractor.
• Coordinate with procurement, inspectors, and site teams to resolve shipping and delivery issues.
• Oversee material movement procedures to meet high‑level accuracy standards.
• Liaise with vendors and logistics providers to plan transportation and shipping activities.
• Expedite vendors for receipt of deliverables, including shipping documentation and proper packing.
• Maintain professional interactions with clients, vendors, and external stakeholders.
• Lead the Materials team ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

Required profile

• Demonstrable experience in Materials Management within mineral processing plants or infrastructure construction.
• Strong knowledge of international freight laws, regulations and practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
• Ability to work with all organisational levels and external providers.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise accurately.
