Merchant Account Supervisor

About the role

Wave is building the first cashless continent by offering simple, fee‑free financial services across Africa. As a Merchant Account Supervisor you will lead the rollout and ongoing management of corporate merchant solutions in Côte d’Ivoire, ensuring merchants are onboarded, trained and supported to drive transaction volume and brand adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and manage corporate merchants across Côte d’Ivoire, handling onboarding, training, branding and technical account setup.
• Monitor merchant performance, conduct regular field visits and intervene when transaction volumes decline.
• Maintain relationships with corporate partners’ senior management, reviewing performance and strengthening collaboration each cycle.
• Process merchant settlements, coordinate store roll‑outs, installations, training and initial support.
• Gather merchant feedback, report bugs to engineering and work closely with cross‑functional teams to improve the product.
• Collaborate with marketing on promotions, events and BTL activities for merchants.
• Prepare meeting notes, update partner status reports and craft professional communications.

• Result‑driven professional with a passion for delivering exceptional client service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable conducting face‑to‑face visits and presentations.
• Ability to analyse merchant data, identify performance issues and propose actionable solutions.
• Proactive, organized and able to manage multiple merchant accounts simultaneously.
