Product Support Engineer

About the role

Sandvik is looking for a proactive Product Support Engineer to deliver technical support, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance and aftermarket optimisation for its Rock Processing portfolio. The role covers stationary and mobile crushing & screening equipment, screening solutions and attachment tools, with a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in Job Safety Analyses, risk assessments and safe work procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Provide expert technical assistance for all Sandvik Rock Processing products.
• Install, commission, test and start‑up equipment at customer sites.
• Maximise equipment availability through preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, electrical/electronic and automation issues using engineering drawings, hydraulic schematics and electrical diagrams.
• Conduct complex troubleshooting of PLC‑controlled systems, sensors, instrumentation, CAN‑bus networks and machine control systems.

Required profile

• Technical background in mechanical, hydraulic or electrical engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with industrial crushing and screening equipment.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and work in field conditions.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to follow EHS procedures.
