Quatrième Mécanicien

About the role

The Fourth Mechanic will be based in Côte d'Ivoire and will lead the planning and supervision of preventive maintenance programmes for marine and oil‑gas equipment. The role ensures high equipment availability, safety compliance and optimal performance across the fleet.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and supervise preventive maintenance activities for machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mechanical failures in maritime, petroleum and gas environments.
• Lead a team of technicians, allocating tasks and monitoring progress.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with industry safety standards.
• Coordinate with procurement to secure spare parts and tools needed for repairs.

Required profile

• Minimum BAC+2 or BAC+3 education.
• At least 5 years of experience in the maritime, petroleum or gas sector.
• Proven ability to plan, organize and lead maintenance teams.
• Strong analytical skills for diagnosing complex mechanical issues.
• Fluency in French; English is a plus.
