About the role
Aggreko is seeking a Strategic Account Development Officer to lead the growth of its energy solutions business in Ivory Coast. The role focuses on creating new business opportunities, expanding the customer base, and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Represent Aggreko in-country and nurture existing customer relationships.
- Identify and develop new market channels to increase sales.
- Execute sector‑focused business development aligned with regional growth strategies.
- Secure timely contract extensions in partnership with the Business Commercial Manager.
- Reduce debtor days and ensure compliance with CSR commitments.
- Liaise with public and regulatory bodies such as tax, legal, customs, and courts.
- Promote Aggreko’s values and culture across the local team.
- Collaborate with regional colleagues to share best practices and drive governance.
Required profile
- Proven experience in strategic account development for large industrial projects, preferably in power or energy solutions.
- Strong ability to generate new business, close contracts, and manage key stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent collaboration skills to align multiple parties toward common goals.
- Leadership capability to motivate, coach, and hold teams accountable.
- Hands‑on, results‑oriented approach with solid planning and organizational abilities.
- Local citizenship and residence in Ivory Coast.
